Miss Van Deaux is an aggressive, hot headed young woman. She can often unnecessarily rude and dismissive, which was what attracted play boy Master Valerio to her in the first place. The pair shared a fiery, exciting but ultimately destructive relationship for three months before splitting. There was always more passion than connection between them.

Master Harewood is kind, sweet and tenacious, and to Miss Van Deaux - a pain. His perpetual optimism and quiet nature mean that he takes things on the chin, not being put off by things going wrong.

When they bump into each other, very literally, Miss Van Deaux can't wait to get away, but he has other ideas. She is riding her bike down a past a coffee shop in Belgravia, when Master Harewood walks out day dreaming, and collides with Miss Van Deaux. They both end up on the floor, but she does not accept his apology with good grace - possibly as she gains a large cut on her brow. Master Harewood insists on buying a coffee for her to apologize, and realising he won't take no for an answer, sulks into the coffee shop with him.

Master Valerio happens to wonder into the shop, on his morning coffee run. He notices the pair, in particular, a smiling Miss Van Deaux, suddenly in a good mood around the charismatic Master Harewood. Although he has no feelings for Miss Van Deaux, he is still attracted to her, and plans to seduce her once again to amuse himself.

Miss Van Deaux and Master Harewood's relationship blossoms, and he brings out a happy, easy going side of her. He falls hard for her, and although she is reluctant to admit it even to herself, the feeling is mutual.

Master Valerio invites her out, and as she is still friends with the Casanova, she agrees. They go to the same coffee shop that he first seen the new pair in, and the conversation quickly turns to Valerio and Van Deaux getting together. Outraged, she goes to leave, telling him that it will never happen, but he kisses her. A friend of Master Harewood's comes into the coffee shop, and sees his new girlfriend kissing another man, and leaves to tell him. Van Deaux prises Valerio from herself and storms out.

Master Harewood is heart broken, and Miss Van Deaux must try to win him back, and make the truth known. However, it isn't as easy as that, as his friends had warned him away from her, and he now feels a fool for not believing them...
